Terms of Service

1. General

• These Terms may be updated occasionally. The version in effect at the time you pay your invoice applies to your commission.
• I reserve the right to refuse or cancel any commission for any reason, at any time with no obligation to disclose my reasoning. See Section 5 for more information.

2. Commission Process

1. You submit an application or request through the site, or privately with me over social media.
2. I review your request and, if accepted, send an invoice with the agreed price and scope.
3. Work begins only after full payment (unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing).
4. You will receive the final artwork as a digital file (e.g. PNG), delivered via download or direct message. More files can be provided as requested

3. Payment & Pricing

• All prices are listed in GBP unless otherwise stated. Currency conversion fees are the Client's responsibility.
• Payment is typically required upfront. For larger projects, partial payment plans may be agreed individually.
• Invoices not paid within the specified timeframe may result in your slot being cancelled and re-opened to others.
• Any additional work requested outside the originally agreed scope may incur extra charges, although small edits are typically fine, see the next section for more details.

4. Revisions

• The number of revisions included depends on the commission type and will be stated in the commission info or discussed in advance.
• Minor adjustments (small colour tweaks, tiny details) are usually fine. Major changes (pose, composition, outfit overhaul) may be treated as a new commission or incur extra fees. If you have changes you can see you will want made PLEASE state them as early as possible!
• Once a piece is marked as final and delivered, further changes may be declined or quoted separately.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

• If I need to cancel a commission before it is completed, you will receive a full or fair partial refund depending on how much work is already finished.
• If you cancel before I start working, a refund may be issued minus any non-refundable processing fees.
• If you cancel after significant work has begun, a partial refund (or no refund) may be given at my discretion, based on progress.
• Chargebacks without prior communication are treated as a breach of these Terms and may result in blacklisting from future commissions. I will name and shame.

6. Deadlines & Scheduling

• Unless a specific deadline is agreed in writing, any dates mentioned are estimates, not guarantees.
• Rush deadlines may be accepted for an additional fee, depending on availability.
• I will do my best to communicate delays where possible. Severe delays may entitle you to a partial refund at my discretion.

7. Content Restrictions

• I reserve the right to refuse any and all content I am uncomfortable with, including but not limited to: fetish work, hate content, harassment, extreme, graphic violence, or anything illegal.
• I, as IMPFORHIRE, am not an NSFW artist, although sexual undertones are fine.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any characters, designs, or references you provide.

8. Usage Rights

• Unless we explicitly agree otherwise, commissions are for personal, non-commercial use only.
• You may share the artwork online, use it as an icon/header, or print it for yourself, as long as you credit me where reasonable and do not claim authorship.
• You may not mint the artwork as NFTs, resell it, use it for AI training, or use it in any commercial product (merch, book covers, VTuber assets, etc.) without a separate written agreement and commercial fee.
• I retain all rights to the artwork, including the right to post it in my portfolio, social media, or promotional material, unless we agree to keep it private for an additional fee.

9. Edits & AI / Training

• You may not heavily edit, trace, or remove my signature in a way that misrepresents authorship.
• You may not use commissioned artwork in any dataset, training pipeline, or AI-generated derivative work.

10. Privacy & Data

• I will not share your private contact details or payment information publicly. Anything stored will be stored as securely as I am capable of doing. I consulted with cybersecurity specialists when designing this site, if that helps.
• I keep internal records of your commission (e.g. invoice data, email/username, references) for bookkeeping and recordkeeping.
• If you need something to stay anonymous (e.g. no username in public credits), please tell me in advance, and I can delete all names, and anonymise credit for your commissioned artwork or stored data.

11. Liability

• I am not liable for any loss, damage, or issues arising from how you choose to use the artwork.
• I make reasonable efforts to deliver files in standard, usable formats. You are responsible for backing up your files after delivery, although I may be able to help if you lose the file.
